Riding -
Stay with The Hips

To key to becoming a successful rider on top is to learn to
instinctually stay with your opponent’s hips. Whether your
opponent sits stands or switches a good rider stays with
and controls the hips with clamps controls and fluid motion.

If the opponent tries to Power Roll /Granby, stay with the
hips either with a strong enough clamp to stop the roll or
by bringing your own hips along for the ride and
maintaining superior control position.

Underhook Snap Back

When you are controlling the hips opportunities such as under hook
snap backs while arise. Pressure in with double under-hooks then
take the chin on one side withdrawal your hips and snap your
opponent to his back. Lower your weight - chest on chest.
