Inside-Step Single Leg

Single Leg Attack with a Straight Inside-Step Shot

The inside step single is preformed by getting your opponent to step
away from your Lead Leg. Set your self and penetrate with a step
through the opponent’s legs, splitting the seam of his legs coming in
tight with your head inside as a lever, pick up the leg with your arms,
securing the single leg tightly with your shoulder digging into his
quadriceps muscle.- take a withdrawing downward spiraling step to
dump your opponent to the mat. Set your self as you circle setting
yourself to shoot as he follows, as he does come in clean pick up
the leg pressure in with your shoulder and dropping him to the mat.
Always finish with your weight on the opponent tying up an arm or a
leg in the process. The shot is easy to anticipate when you are the
one dictating the movement you know he will step because you are
creating the movement set your self and penetrate deep and tight to
secure the leg with head and shoulder pressure.
