Fight Off Back

From a Half or Reverse Nelson

Fighting off the back is no easy task. If you are trapped on
your back you must immediately bridge up to avoid the fall.
Insert your arm with your palm down on your on chest
working the arm between yours and the opponent’s chest.
Once you have your arm working in, Punch It through, while
also Hip Heisting to Belly Downward. Work yourself back to
a base with your head up. It takes a Never Say Die attitude
to fight off the back but you can do it and turn the match
around, never give up.

Alternate View

Escape when Trapped in a Tilt

When trapped in a Tilt, work to gain control of the opponents knee that is jacking inward and controlling your hips. Push downward on the jacking knee and hop your hips over the opponent’s leg, once you’ve got your hips out of his control, break the wrist and or two on one control of your arm and scoot out. Turn back into the man with a Cut Through or Turn in and attack back for Reversal control
