Cradle Series

Clamping a Near Leg Cradle

You can clamp a Cradle any time you are riding and you find
that your opponent has made the mistake of bringing his
head close to his knee. When you see it spin with the weight
of your chest on your opponent’s back, locking a clamp with
one arm behind the neck and the other locking the leg. Both
locks should go elbow joint deep on the head and leg targets.
Once locked up keep your head in the side and drive across
your opponent, slip back your shoulder below his shoulder
and bring your head up and butt down to clamp at it’s tightest.

Cross Face Cradle

While riding crank the opponent’s head towards his knee -
once his head is near his knee clamp the cross face arm
and leg cranking arm into a lock. Place your knee in the
side and pull him back towards his back - you will go
towards your own back in the process but maintain
pressure and control, with your knee in the side.

Sit & Roll Thru Cradle

If the opponent sits through on your cradle. Don’t panic, keep your
lock and hip heist up into a Neck Bridge going along with your
opponents roll and clamping him up on the other side. Remember
once you’ve locked the cradle keep your head in the side, even as
you roll through with a cradle. Finishing Head up and Butt down.
